I love spring. I love all of the Bradford pear trees in bloom and these pretty trees with the purple flowers. One thing I do hate about spring is losing that one hour. Boy did the time change throw us off this year. I think what made it worse was that the three of us (me and the boys) have been sick for a while. I've had this bug on and off for four weeks now! Well, Clay was having one of his typical four year old moments and must have thought that his glasses were made out of rubber or something. He took them and snapped them in half.
sigh. I don't know why I was so surprised. That's what you get for putting the cheapest frames on a destructible four year old boy.
Well, while typing this post, I got a bit of bad news from Mike. Apparently they laid everyone off at work. I am too shocked right now to feel anything but numb. Well, I guess that we will be 'springing forward' like in my title, and searching for a new job. sigh.

I'm so sorry. I know that feeling, and it's scary. But I also know that somehow things always end up working out for the best. And with an awesome guy like Mike, well hey, the sky's the limit!

I"m so sorry to hear about Mike! I lost my job on Monday, too. It's everywhere!! What does Mike do? I'll keep my ear to the ground for him, too.
